从2004年,位于英国伦敦的思宾塞宫定期会举办一场汇聚全球艺术高端人士的“全球艺术品收藏论坛”(GlobalCollecting Forum),论坛由英国“战略对话研究院”(Instituteof Strategic Dialogue,简称ISD)组织,基于ISD在欧美政界、商界、文化界以及传媒界的广泛人脉与影响力,收藏论坛每年根据具体的议题,邀请年度全球排名靠前的收藏家、艺术基金会、艺术捐助人或机构、美术馆与博物馆的策展人或馆长、艺术院校院长、知名专家,以及与收藏有关的政府部门领导人参与讨论,并邀请艺术界权威人士担任主持人,如纽约现代博物馆(MOMA)名誉主席罗纳德·劳德(Ronald Lauder,雅诗兰黛集团继承人)、英国前文化大臣史密斯伯爵、日内瓦投资公司艺术护甲基金会(ArtVest S.A.)总监达尼埃拉·卢森伯格、苏富比拍卖行主管DaniellaLuxembourg、伦敦艺术大学校长约翰·图萨爵士(Sir JohnTusa)、牛津大学艺术史教授马丁·肯普(Martin Kemp)都曾应邀担任论坛主持。
Since 2004, the Palace of Spencer in London, England, hosts a regular “GlobalCollecting Forum” that brings together the most sophisticated art professionals in the world. The forum is hosted by the UK’s Institute of Strategic Studies Strategic Dialogue (ISD), based on ISD’s wide range of contacts and influence in political, business, cultural and media circles in Europe and the United States, each year the collection forum invites the world’s top collectors, art foundations, Art donors or agencies, curators and curators of art galleries and museums, dean of art schools, renowned experts and leaders of government departments concerned with the collection participated in the discussion and invited art authorities to serve as moderators Ronald Lauder, honorary chairman of the New York’s Museum of Modern History (MOMA), successor to Estee Lauder, former secretary of the British Council Smith, head of ArtVest SA, Geneva investment firm Daniela Rosen Berg, Sotheby’s director Daniella Luxembourg, President of the University of the Arts Sir John Tusa, Oxford University Arts Professor Martin Kemp, a history professor, was invited to chair the forum.
