The German Cancer Research Center was founded in 1964 by Bauer, a professor of surgery at Heidelberg, and funded by the Baden-Württemberg government. Since 1975, it has acquired basic research equipment. The mission of the German Cancer Research Center is to work on cancer research, researching the nature of cancer, prevention and treatment. At present, almost one in three people in the Federal Republic of Germany has cancer and one in five people dies of cancer. Although medicine is developing rapidly now, cancer still claims 400 lives every day. According to this calculation, at least 12 million of the inhabitants of the Federal Republic of Germany will now die of cancer. To this end, anti-cancer work is by far the most important health, political and scientific work. The most complex issues in cancer research and cancer prevention will involve many areas such as biosciences, natural sciences, and social sciences. The purpose of the research program of the German Cancer Research Center is to provide the most basic information for understanding the occurrence of cancer and formulating scientific treatment plans. Consider the treatment methods and preconditions for various types of cancer in cancer research
