达兰花草原供水井位于右旗白音他拉公社达兰花大队白音乌日海生产队,全队七万多亩草场内既无河水,又无泉水,是个干旱丘陵地带。长期以来就靠居民点的人工筒井供入及两千余头(只)牲畜饮用,该井不仅水量不足,而且含氟量在四毫克以上。而较远一些的草场因无水牲畜又进不去,所以该队两千余头(只)牲畜只好围绕居民点附近不到两万亩有限的草场放牧,由于载畜量过大,加上干旱,草场逐年退化,牲畜不仅吃不上饲草,连含氟量较高的饮水
