February 22, 2001 Chairman of Kazakhstan Chamber of Commerce and Industry met with commercial counselors of the foreign embassy in Kazakhstan to discuss the development of mutual cooperation and exchange of information in the future. During the meeting with the invited guests, Hamidi Lakshev, chairman of the Harbin Federation of Trade Unions, made a remark and made a brief statement of the progress of Kazakhstan’s transition to a market economy and the work of the Federation of Trade Unions in the recent 10 years.
