胶东有个双山村,双山有个“双山张”。双山村位于莱西市东南部,这一带是平原洼地,双山村后独有小山,两峰突起,故名“双山”。历史上这里隶属莱阳县,解放后,行政区划调整,归于莱西县管辖。“双山村”是个统称,后来分成东双山、西双山和山西头三个村庄,村民绝大多数为张姓。双山村是双山张氏的发源地。张氏祖先来到这里,繁衍生息,历经600余年,“双山张”成为中华张氏族群中比较有名的一个分支。单算已纳入族谱的现今双山张氏后代,数量就超过10万人,主要集中在青岛、烟台和东北三省的很多地方,还有台湾等。
