干细胞研究是当今生物医学研究最热门的领域,20世纪初就有科学家提出了"干细胞"这个概念,直到今日,干细胞可以自我更以新,通过细胞分裂产生的两个子细胞中至少有一个仍是干细胞,同时在特定的条件下可公分化成不同类型的功能细胞,与之相关的一个衡量标准是可以形成功能的器官或整个个体,在这公认的定义中,尚没有揭开的谜底还有很多很多.
