《英语新课程标准》把“激发和培养学生学习兴趣,树立学生自信心,养成良好学习习惯和策略”作为其核心所在,可见小学阶段英语学习应从学生的学习兴趣、生活经验和认知水平出发,倡导学生除了掌握基本的英语知识和技能,更要提高语言的运用能力。学生学习英语需要一个熟练运用的过程,课堂教学提供大量的输入与输出的机会有助于培养学生的语言运用能力。输入与输出是语言学习的两个重要环节。然而仅在课堂上的学习是不够的,课前后的作业与课堂教学紧密相连,也是培养学生语言运用能力的重要途径。
