首都图书馆新馆是北京市属综合性大型公共图书馆,是北京市标志性文化设施,建筑面积37033m~2,占地四公顷,位于朝阳区南磨房乡华威桥东侧,已于2000年10月26日竣工,计划2001年5月1日正式开馆投入使用。 历史的发展 文脉的延续 首都图书馆是历经近90年风雨的公共图书馆,前身为京师通俗图书馆,是由中国文化革命的先驱鲁迅先生于1913年亲自筹建的。解放后称北京市图书馆。1956年经周恩来总理批准由西华门迁至曾为元、明、清三代的最高学府——国子监,更名为首都图书馆。郭沫若先生为其题写馆名。
The new capital of Beijing Library is a comprehensive large-scale public library in Beijing. It is a landmark cultural facility in Beijing with a building area of 37033m2. It covers an area of four hectares and is located at the east of Huawei Bridge in Nanfangfang Township, Chaoyang District. Completed on October 26, plans to May 1, 2001 officially opened for use. Continuation of Historical Development Context The Capital Library, a popular public library of nearly 90 years and formerly known as the Capital Normal Library, was personally founded by Lu Xun in 1913 by the pioneer of the Chinese cultural revolution. Liberated said Beijing Library. In 1956, Premier Zhou Enlai approved the move from Xihuamen to the highest institution of the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties - Imperial College, renamed the Capital Library. Mr. Guo Moruo wrote the name of the museum.
