对于石油沥青的改性材料种类较多,比如用SBS(苯乙烯—丁二烯—苯乙烯)、APP(无规聚丙烯)、SBR(丁苯橡胶)、PVC(聚氯乙烯)、CSM(氯磺化聚乙烯)、IIR(丁基橡胶)等均能使沥青得到改性。其中SBS是改性沥青的较好材料,耐低温性能也较好,但耐高温性能略差;APP也是改性沥青的好材料,耐高温性能很好,但耐低温性能较差。二者混用比单独使用SBS或单独使用APP改性沥青性能好得多,经实验证明对沥青改性效果最佳。
