随着语言学理论的不断发展和广泛应用,外语教学的重心也渐渐向语用知识偏移。而随着时间的更迭,关联理论也因为其具有强大的解释力,而逐渐被应用到各个领域,关联理论为英语学习者提供了良好的理论依据。本文从这一角度出发,讨论公共课英语的学习认知过程,分析关联理论在公共英语教学活动中的理解和应用。
With the continuous development and widespread application of linguistic theories, the focus of foreign language teaching has gradually shifted to pragmatic knowledge. With the change of time, relevance theory has gradually been applied to various fields because of its powerful explanatory power. Relevance theory has provided a good theoretical basis for English learners. This article starts from this point of view, discusses the learning and cognitive process of English in public classes, and analyzes the relevance and application of relevance theory in the teaching of public English.
