我校是县级重点中学,近年来,在市、县教委的督导下,更新观念,提高认识,落实措施,促进了学校体育的深化改革。具体做法: 一是更新教育职能的观念,提高体育对全面实施教育职能重要性的认识,落实体育在整个学校教育中应有的位置。为确保应有的位置,我们克服片面追求升学率的倾向,从“升学教育”转变为“素质教育”,做到“五育”一齐抓,体育与其他课的改革,同步进行,不挤不占,和谐发展。同时认真解决人、财、物的问题。每年级(4至6个班)配一位体育教师,正常体育经费每生一年平均不少于7元。每生人手一册体育课本,体育场地、器材设施达省级标准。二是更新人才观念,提高体育对人才培养重要性的认识,克服重文轻武(体)的倾向。三年来我们试行初、高中招生加试体育,体育成绩按20％计入文化考试总成绩,体育考试不合格者,不予录取。1984年以来,每年初、高中各招6至8名体育尖子,列入国家
