It has been shown that the increase of postprandial jejunal absorption of water and electrolytes has nothing to do with the digestive central phase and gastric phase, but the source of neural and humoral signals is unclear. This article aims to validate the idea that food causes the jejunal response to enter the small intestine and to try to determine the role of nutrients and osmotic pressure in this reaction. The author used dog proximal free jejunum 25cm Thiry-Vella fistula, the other to the distal pylorus 5cm duodenum inserted 8cm silicone hose. Two weeks later for the jejunal absorption test, each test includes 1 hour basic period and 3 hours experimental period.
