处罚规定简介美国各州均禁止驾驶机动车在道路上追逐竞驶,并规定了较为严厉的处罚。以佛罗里达州为例,该州成文法典《Florida Statutes》第316章“机动车”对此进行了规定:一是明确驾驶机动车在道路上竞驶(Race)属于犯罪。二是对组织者和驾驶人进行同罚。三是明确一辆机动车也能构成竞驶,表现形态为计时竞速。四是处罚较为严厉。对于构成犯罪的,财产罚、资格罚和人身罚同时适用。其中财产罚幅度为500美元至1000美元;资格罚最高为吊销驾驶
