2002年11月,修改后的《工会 法》将工会的维护职责进行了进一步的 明确,郑重提出:“工会的基本职责是 维护职工的合法权益”。可以这样说, 将维护作为工会组织的基本职责写进我 国的法律,是经过中国工会长期艰苦的 实践,经过多年的艰苦努力才实现的。 党中央提出建立社会主义市场经济体制 的目标后,我国的经济发展进入了一个 新时期。随着社会主义市场经济体制的 逐步建立,劳动关系的主体发生了深刻 的变化,这种变化对工会提出了新的要 求。维护职工合法权益已成为市场经济 体制条件下工会工作面临的突出任务和 广大职工对工会的基本要求。
In November 2002, the amended “Trade Union Law” further defined the responsibility of safeguarding trade unions and solemnly put forward: “The basic duty of a trade union is to safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employees.” It can be said that the law of safeguarding the basic duties of maintaining a union as an organization into our country was realized through the long and hard practices of the Chinese trade unions and through years of hard work. After the Party Central Committee put forward the goal of establishing a socialist market economic system, our country’s economic development has entered a new period. With the gradual establishment of a socialist market economic system, the main body of labor relations has undergone profound changes. Such changes have set new demands on trade unions. Safeguarding the lawful rights and interests of workers has become a prominent task the trade unions face under the conditions of a market economy system and the basic requirements of the workers and staff members on the trade unions.
