韦国清(1913-1989),壮族人民的优秀儿子。在长达20多年的革命战争生涯中,他南征北战,舍生忘死,为新民主主义革命的胜利,为中国人民的解放事业,建立了不可磨灭的历史功勋;新中国成立后,应胡志明的请求,中国政府指派以他为团长的军事顾问团赴越,协助越南进行抗法战争;主政广西期间,他团结带领广西各族人民自力更生、艰苦创业,恢复和发展生产,并取得巨大成就;在担任中国人民解放军总政治部主任期间,为加速部队的革命化、现代化、正规化建设作出了重要贡献……在韦国清同志诞辰100周年之际,本期推出《毛泽东与韦国清》一文,以表深切缅怀之情。
Wei Guoqing (1913-1989), the eldest son of the Zhuang people.
