儿童美术教育是素质教育的重要组成部分,是人才素质的基础教育;它以促进儿童身心全面和谐发展,增长美育知识,开发学生智力,提高学生的想象力与创造力为目的。传统的少儿美术教学思想,教学体系和教学方法的主要弊端是:把教学过程看作是教师单纯向学生传递灌输知识,学生被动接受现成知识的过程,致使学生课上思维活动少,动手实践少,主初探索少,严重影响了学生个性特长的培养及创造能力的发展,也阻碍了现代少年儿童美术教育发展。要想为新世纪培养出合格的人才,那么我们必须首先得改变我们旧的思想观念,革新我们的教学方法,不断地在美术教学中渗透创造教育思想,以把学生培养成创造性的人才。怎样把创造教育思想渗透在美术教学中呢?
