2000年钢铁工业科技进步的总体目标是:在大力增加钢产量的同时,再上“四个新台阶”。即:要上品种、质量水平的新台阶,增产国民经济发展需要的关键品种和适销对路的钢材;上现代化水平的新台阶,把工艺技术水平和装备水平提高一大步;上集约经营和规模经济的新台阶,提高劳动生产率;上综合经济效益的新台阶,增强钢铁工业面向国内外市场,参与竞争的能力。
The overall goal of scientific and technological progress in the iron and steel industry in 2000 is to raise “four new steps” while vigorously increasing steel output. Namely: to a new level of variety, quality level, to increase the production of key varieties of national economic development and marketable steel; on the modernization level of a new level, the level of technology and equipment to enhance the level of a big step; intensive operation and A new level of scale economy and an increase in labor productivity.
