2013年3月9日上午,上海史量才研究专业委员会成立大会在松江区泗泾镇史量才故居召开。来自中国新闻史学会、上海市历史学会、上海图书馆、复旦大学新闻学院等单位的领导及研究史量才的专家学者,包括史量才侄孙女庞荣棣女士等共50余人出席了大会。开幕仪式上宣读了中国新闻史学会顾问宁树藩教授等三位前辈的贺词。中国新闻史学会副会长吴廷俊教授到会并致辞,称赞此研究专业委员会的成立是中国新闻史学界的大事。
On the morning of March 9, 2013, the founding conference of Shanghai Sci-Tech Research Committee was held in the former residence of Shi Quan, Song Jing District, Sijing Town. More than 50 experts and scholars from the Chinese Journalism History Society, Shanghai History Society, Shanghai Library and School of Journalism, Fudan University, and other experts of historical research, including Ms. Pang Rongdi, a great grandparent and granddaughter of the historical figures, attended the conference. At the opening ceremony, the message of the three predecessors, Professor Ning Shuofan, consultant of China Journalism History Society, was read out. Professor Wu Tingjun, vice president of China Society of Journalism, attended and addressed the conference and praised the establishment of this research professional committee as a major event in the history of Chinese news.
