Objective To evaluate the clinical application and value of spiral CT angiography (SCTA) in aortic lesions. Methods Totally 87 patients with suspected aortic diseases underwent SCTA. Fifty-four patients were confirmed by surgery. MRA and sonography were performed in 49 patients and 18 patients underwent angiography (XRA), including DSA in 8 patients. All cases were rebuilt in VQ workstations. Results 87 cases of aortic dissection in 48 cases, 23 cases of aortic aneurysm, 2 cases of traumatic pseudoaneurysm, congenital aortic constriction in 3 cases, 3 cases of aortitis, right aortic 2 cases, atherosclerosis 3 cases, 3 cases were normal. Conclusion As a minimally invasive imaging diagnosis method, SCTA can reliably display the aortic lesions. The diagnosis of aortic aneurysm and aortic dissection and other major arterial lesions has basically replaced the traditional angiography, and provides accurate anatomic information and surgery Follow-up evaluation has important clinical value.
