中国画发展和创新,已经不再仅仅是中国画家的使命,而是关乎到民族精神和文化传承的大计。在进入20世纪初叶前后,中国画传统层面的创新已经有许多成功的创作实践及理论得以确立。至上世纪末,现当代水墨领域的创变引发了学术领域无休无止的论争,中国画的前途将艰苦而漫长。对中国画的创变多少会有“反叛”的意味,而理论评判和先行者的包容,甚至支持,对于未来中国画的研究探索尤为重要。
The development and innovation of Chinese painting are no longer just the mission of the Chinese painter, but a grand plan for the national spirit and cultural heritage. Before and after the beginning of the 20th century, many successful creative practices and theories have been established in the tradition-level innovation of traditional Chinese painting. By the end of the last century, the fossilization in the field of modern and contemporary ink painting has led to an endless debate in the academic field. The future of Chinese painting will be painstaking and lengthy. The creation of Chinese painting will have more or less the meaning of “rebellion.” However, theoretical judgment and pioneer tolerance or even support are of particular importance for the exploration of future Chinese paintings.
