利用高炉铁水直接浇注铸件,在国内外都已得到越来越多的采用,它是冶金工厂中铸造行业节约能源的有效方法。它的优点是: 1.省去了铸造生铁熔化工序,铸件能耗可以降低60～70％; 2.省去了铸造生铁熔化所需的设备、材料和人工,降低了铸件成本; 3.由于高炉铁水含碳量较高,因而可以采用含硅较低的铸造铁水或炼钢铁水,节约了牌号较高的铸造生铁。
