现代艺术是20世纪以来占主导地位的艺术形态。现代艺术是理性和非理性的统一。任何一种艺术形态都不会没有基础的偶然产生,也不会没有理由的突然消失,整个艺术发展史不是技术熟练程度的发展史,而是观念和要求的变化史。艺术家是人类中最敏感的群体,他们有责任用各种方法去探索解决物质生产高度发展与精神压力日渐加剧人间矛盾的新途径。现代艺术产生的时代绘画手法可以更好的去表达艺术家们自己内心深处真实情感的工具和媒介。
Modern art is the dominant form of art since the 20th century. Modern art is the unity of reason and irrationality. Any kind of art form will not be accidental without foundation, nor will it disappear without any reason. The whole history of art development is not a history of technological proficiency, but a history of changes in concepts and requirements. Artists are the most sensitive groups in human beings. They have the responsibility to explore in various ways new ways to solve the highly contradictions between human beings and the highly developed material production and the growing mental stress. The techniques of the times created by modern art can better convey the tools and media of the true feelings of the artists themselves.
