丹桂飘香的金秋时节,古城苏州迎来了又一个盛典。继成功举办APEC财长会议之后,9月21～25日,第四届APEC技术展示暨交易会又在这里举行。 APEC技交会前三届分别在韩国、中国台北和澳大利亚举办。本届技交会首次在我国大陆举办,由科技部、外经贸部、江苏省政府主办。值得一提的是,本届技交会在苏州市举行具有特殊意义,因为苏州前不久刚被美国权威周刊评定为全球九大新兴科技城市之一。
Tan Kwai fragrant autumn season, the ancient city of Suzhou ushered in another festival. Following the successful holding of APEC Finance Ministers’ Meeting, the fourth APEC Technology Show and Trade Fair is held here again from September 21 to 25. The first three APEC Fair held in South Korea, China Taipei and Australia. The fair is held in mainland China for the first time and is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Jiangsu Provincial Government. It is worth mentioning that the current trade fair held in Suzhou City has a special significance, because Suzhou recently just been the US authoritative weekly as one of the nine emerging global technology cities.
