作者取同龄健康的Wistar乳鼠,随机分成克汀病组和对照组。喂养三个月后,两组体重、甲状腺素(T_4)、促甲状腺激素(TSH)均有显著差异。测定血清中总羟脯氨酸(HYP)的含量,克汀病组为0.15mmol/L,对照组为0.247mol/L,P<0.001,说明汀病大鼠体内胶原代谢缓慢,骨骼发育迟缓,所以血清HYP含量不仅可以作为胶原蛋白代谢和含量的指标,也可作为甲状腺功能检测的重要生化指标。硒是人和动物的必需微量元素。如果硒缺乏有关的代谢过程就会由于缺硒而阻断,可能导致多种疾病。作者所测克汀病大鼠血硒水平明显低于对照组(P<0.05),提示硒缺乏可能是致克汀病发生的因素之一。
