The 4th International Conference on High-Rise Buildings will be held in Shanghai from April 27 to April 29, 1988 in Shanghai and from May 2nd to 4th. The conference was initiated by the Hong Kong Association of Contractors, the Association of Housing Consultants Engineers (Hong Kong Branch), the United States High-Rise Building and Urban Residential Committee, the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the British Structural Engineers Association. The Department of Structural Engineering, Tongji University and the Shanghai Society of Architecture jointly organize. The theme of this conference was extensive, including engineering design and analysis, foundations of high-rise buildings, architectural planning and design, and construction.
