On September 8, 2012, the “4th Guangzhou Islamic Cultural Forum” was held by the Muslim Association of Guangzhou and the Hui Muslim Historical and Cultural Research Institute in Guangzhou. It was held in the Institute of City Socialism. State Religious Affairs Bureau, China Iraq Association, Guangdong Provincial Ministerial Committee and Guangzhou Municipal United Front Work Department, Municipal Bureau of Religious Affairs, Guangdong Provincial Association of Iraq, Hong Kong’s Islamic heads of persons concerned, as well as experts and scholars from Beijing, Hong Kong and Lanzhou More than 100 representatives from Guangzhou Muslims attended the forum.
