西岸双年展艺术馆位处黄埔江边,被设计成可观赏六道不同景致的“六望亭”。它是由六个同样的半椭圆形体块联结而成的单层建筑,其中三个向内,三个向外。两组体块内部房间用色一致,均依次为蓝绿、黄色和洋红。在向内的房间里,各色彩面重叠融合,在视觉上形成新的色彩;在向外的房间里,各个色彩则把景观框定在单色的静帧画面里。外墙使用了预制白色混凝土板,下半部为波纹面,上半部表面平滑。入口被设置在弯曲体块相交的三处联结点,参观者最先进入三个界定出三角形中庭的内向房间。大型卷帘可接收投影,无论从内部还是外部均可体验。在各体块曲度最大处设计了大面积天窗,以
The West Bank Biennale Art Museum is located on the Huangpu River and is designed as “Liu Pavilion” with six different views. It is a single-story building joined by six identical semi-ellipsoidal blocks, three of them inwards and three outwards. Two groups of internal body color block with the same color, followed by blue-green, yellow and magenta. In the inward room, the color surfaces overlap and blend in to create a new color visually. In the outward room, each color sets the landscape frame in a monochrome still frame. Prefabricated white concrete panels were used for the façade, with the lower half corrugated and the upper half smooth. The entrances were set at three junctions where the curved mass intersected, and the visitor first entered three inward facing rooms defining a triangular atrium.
