云南少数民族传统图案的产生源于人们在生活中对自然各种事物的认知,它是在特定历史背景、地理环境等综合因素作用下的产物,云南少数民族传统图案的种类繁多、式样丰富,包含着极具传统特色的样式和审美价值,给现代平面设计提供了丰富的借鉴元素。本文研究的主要目的是如何使现代设计摆脱对云南少数民族传统图案运用的时代性、审美意识和运用载体的局限,使民族艺术元素能更深入、生动的呈现在现代设计中,而不是简单的张贴和套用。
