The U.S. Army announced the completion of a radio-based combat recognition battlefield test planned for deployment in 2013 as part of its “Competency Components” 14. Universal Network Situation Awareness (UNSA) components run at multiple frequencies with extreme flexibility. With the voice network in use, it is capable of using the embedded or additional global positioning system to provide radio-based identification capabilities to 21st Century Brigade and Brigade Under Operations Command (FBCB2) and other vehicular or radio frequency ranges “Xin Si Si ” system to transmit situation awareness data.
