According to the 2007 Nielsen Online & Nielsen Media’s monitoring of advertisements of the four mainstream media such as the Internet, television, newspapers and magazines, the estimated annual market value of advertising reached 450.8 billion yuan, including 9.34 billion yuan for online display ads and 362.03 billion yuan for television advertisements, Newspaper advertising was 70.64 billion yuan, advertising 8.83 billion yuan magazine, its market share was: the Internet 2.1%, television 80.2%, 15.7% newspapers, 2.0% magazines.
