在落矶山抽水蓄能工程中,设计有越限抽水保护系统,用以保护上水库的大坝、电站和周围的乡村.这项工程中采用了三套独立的系统来检测水库的水位。必要时其中的两套系统能自动停下蓄能机组。装于上水库的测量仪器与发电厂之间用光纤连接。
In the Rocky Mountain Pumped Storage Project, a cross-over pumping protection system was designed to protect the upper dam, the power station and the surrounding countryside. Three separate systems were used to test the reservoir’s water level. Two of these systems automatically shut down the accumulator when necessary. Installed in the reservoir between the measuring instruments and power plants with optical fiber connections.
