我们这一年真没有白过,我们每个人在这短短的时期里都得到从来所未曾有的新经验、新收获。我深深的感着在共产党毛主席领导下的新巾国,不惟是个大的家庭,而且是个大的学校。我们从抗美援朝运动中克服了亲美、恐美、崇美的思想;从土地故革中克服了“各平分田”的思想;从镇压反革命运动中克服了‘宽大无边’的思想及温情主义。这三个运动好比这一年的课程中的三个单元,也就是三个重点。我们当教员的,可以想一想这三个单
We have not really had this year and each of us has gained new experience and new achievements that we never had in these short periods of time. I deeply feel that the new country under the leadership of Chairman Mao of the Communist Party is not only a big family, but also a big school. We overcame the idea of pro-US, fear of the United States and worship of the United States from the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea (DPRK); overcame the “equalization of fields” thought from the land reform; and overcame the idea of “leniency and boundlessness” and warmth from the suppression of the counterrevolutionary revolution.
