The one-time inequality (group) problem is one of the hot topics of the examination proposition in the past years. In this paper, the common test points are briefly analyzed and summarized by taking the exams in various fields in recent years as an example. First, examine the inequality concept and the basic nature of the basic property inequalities is an important basis for solving inequalities, in the three basic properties, we must pay special attention to inequalities on both sides while multiplying or dividing by a negative number, the direction of inequality signs to change. Example 1 (Weifang, Shandong, 2005) Known real numbers a and b correspond to points on the number axis as shown in Figure 1.
