各设区市人民政府,省外经贸厅、外办、公安厅、财政厅:改革开放以来,我省外派劳务业务发展迅速,截止2001年底,我省在外劳务人员达6万多人,遍布世界79个国家和地区,为扩大就业、促进地方经济发展发挥了积极作用,取得较好的社会经济综合效益。目前,由于个别国家和地区政局不稳,特别是巴以冲突加剧,给我在外劳务人员的生命财产安全带来了威胁。为有效保护我在外劳务人员的人身安全,维护劳务人员的合法权益。现就加强我在外劳务人员的安全管理工作通知如下:
Since the reform and opening up, our province’s foreign labor service business has developed rapidly. As of the end of 2001, there were more than 60,000 labor force employees in our province, all over the province 79 countries and regions in the world have played an active role in expanding employment and promoting local economic development, achieving better social and economic comprehensive benefits. At present, due to the political instability in some countries and regions, especially the intensified clashes between Palestine and Israel, it has posed a threat to the lives and property of overseas workers. In order to effectively protect the personal safety of the overseas labor service personnel and safeguard the legal rights and interests of the service personnel. I hereby give my notice on strengthening the safety management of our overseas workers as follows:
