《老子》第六章中一二两句“谷神不死,是谓玄牝”在整个《老子》注释中可能是争论比较集中的要点之一,各家对于句子意思的不同解释,虽然有不少值得思考之处,但从总体上说在过去的《老子》注释中对于这句话的解释还是不能够令人满意。本文认为对于一个句子作出正确的解释应该做以下几个方面的工作,首先确定本字,因为古籍中通假字的情况很多,很多情况下,确定了正确的本字,也就弄明白了字的意义。其次确定正确的
One or two sentences in Chapter Six of Lao Tzu may be one of the most important points in the commentary on Lao Tzu. Each one has different interpretations of the meaning of the sentence. There are many worth thinking about, but in general the explanation of this sentence in the past “Lao Tzu” comment still can not be satisfactory. This paper holds that for a correct interpretation of a sentence should do the following several aspects of the work, first of all to determine the word, because ancient books pass many fake words in many cases, the correct identification of the word, also understand the word significance. Second, determine the correct
