期刊采购是高校图书馆期刊管理的首要环节。近年来,高校图书馆普遍面临着经费短缺,期刊价格上涨,期刊入藏量下降的矛盾。和80年代相比中文期刊目前的价格涨幅为2—3倍,而外文期刊价格涨幅为4—6倍。因此期刊采购工作稍有不慎,就会出现偏差,导致经费浪费和期刊使用率下降,直接影响藏书质量和读者工作的开展。加上近几年期刊内容的重复交叉,互相渗透,以及电子报刊的迅速发展,这些从内容到形式的多种变化,给期刊采购工作增添了难度和压力。所以合理地评估、采购期刊,更好地为教学和科研服务,就显得尤为重要。 1.以高校的教学和科研需求为宗旨。高
Periodical procurement is the most important part of the periodical management in university library.
