机器可读电子词典是一切自然语言处理系统特别是机器翻译系统的基础。机器翻译的研究实践表明,没有高质量的词典,也就没有高质量的译文。每个机译系统都要在机译词典上花费大量的人力和投资,因此本文就建立这样一套通用的支持机器翻译的电子词典,提出若干设想加以讨论。
Machine-readable electronic dictionaries are the foundation of all natural language processing systems, especially machine translation systems. Research on machine translation has shown that there is no high-quality translation without high-quality dictionaries. Each translation system needs to spend a lot of manpower and investment on the transliteration dictionary. Therefore, this article sets up such a universal electronic dictionary that supports machine translation and puts forward some ideas to be discussed.
