The emergence of multi-drug resistance of malaria parasites and the increasing spread of drug resistance have become the biggest challenges in malaria control. The newly developed Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) have been used extensively in a variety of complex disease or trait susceptibility gene analyzes. GWAS provides a powerful tool for high-throughput, genome-wide selection of Plasmodium-resistant genes that further clarifies mechanisms of resistance and directs rational drug use. In this paper, GWAS in Plasmodium resistance gene analysis of the preliminary study, with a view to provide reference for the study of Plasmodium resistance genes.
