画竹竿:画竹必先立竿。竿有粗细、浓淡之分。画竿要成组,要有疏密穿插,忌平行、忌对节、忌三竿穿插于一点(成鼓架状)。画竿如写字,有藏锋,有顿错,行笔要自然、舒服,不可形成“大骨节”病或“中气不足”。画竹节有两种画法,一种像“八”字向下,一种像“乙”字向上。画细枝时,要由里向外用笔。
