For more than a century now, the reform of modern Chinese language and writing, which takes the promotion of common language as a guide, has been carried forward without any interruption. The rejuvenation movement in the late Qing Dynasty advocated “I hand written my mouth”, “Chong Bai dialect, waste classical”, set up vernacular newspaper. After the Revolution of 1911, “unified pronunciation of pronunciation” in 1913 provided the standard language of common language.
