如果说中国美术观的核心价值体系在进入“现代”之前,是不证自明且普遍认同的话,自近代以来随着西方世界的扩张,在中国被动和主动地与西方文化接触、交流和融汇的过程中,古老华夏民族的价值体系乃至认同方式发生着或隐或显的变化,中国美术观也不例外。如何构建迈入现代化进程中、体现新的认同感的中国美术观,是近百年来,中国美术人一直在建构的目标。
If the core value system of Chinese art concept was self-evident and universally accepted before entering into “modernity,” since the modern era, with the expansion of the western world, China has been passive and active in contact with and exchange of ideas with Western culture. In the process of integration, the value system of the ancient Huaxia people and even the identification mode change implicitly or obviously, and the Chinese concept of art is no exception. How to build the Chinese art concept into the process of modernization and embody a new identity is the goal that the Chinese art people have been building in the past hundred years.
