上个世纪80年代初,祖国大陆在迎来改革开放政策的同时,也迎来了文学艺术百花齐放的春天。许多台湾作家的作品在大陆发表,大陆学术界对台湾文学的走向非常关注。然而与此同时,台湾同胞对大陆的文学发展仍然很陌生,因为大陆作家的作品当时还不能进入台湾。海峡两岸隔绝近40年了,政治现实造成的隔膜一时难消,多么需要架起一座彼此沟通的桥啊！台湾著名作家施叔青女士,在当初海峡两岸文化交流的过程中就曾扮演过重要角色。
In the early 1980s, while embracing the policy of reform and opening up, the mainland of the motherland also ushered in the spring with flourishing literature and art. Many works by Taiwanese writers have been published in mainland China, and mainland academics are very concerned about the trend of Taiwanese literature. However, at the same time, compatriots in Taiwan are still unfamiliar with the development of Chinese literature because the writings of mainland writers can not yet enter Taiwan. After nearly 40 years of isolation between the two sides of the Strait, the diaphragm caused by political realities can hardly be eliminated at any time. How much need to set up a bridge to communicate with each other! Ms. Shi Shuqing, a famous Taiwanese writer, played an important role in the cultural exchanges between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait.
