Pointed out that the concept of “dragon” is the result of a Chinese cognitive categorization of its objective external affairs in its special geographical environment, economic background and social history. When “dragon” is introduced into English, it is difficult to find the corresponding categories and concepts in English because according to “dragon” category in Chinese and “dragon” in English, “The categories are completely different. Therefore, the authors believe that it is not appropriate to directly translate the word ”dragon" in English.
