Research on all aspects of throwing shows that throwing is a very complex exercise. Regardless of the nature of the task being thrown, it appears that some of the common kinematic parameters determine the outcome of the throw. Under ideal conditions (omitting air resistance and the type of equipment thrown), the altitude and shot velocity determine the trajectory and cast distance. In all cases of aerodynamics, this ideal analysis needs some changes. Since the throwing stage of a javelin contains both the common part of throwing and the aerodynamically significant effects, the quality of the angle of attack is very important for forming the initial flying state of the javelin. Most of the information reported relates to the kinematics calculated from high-speed movies taken during the game
