Eucalyptus has been classified as a suitable tree species for afforestation in the dry and semi-arid regions of the State of Karabakh in India. A large number of deaths occurred in the seedlings of Eucalyptus gomphocephela D.C. nurseries in 1959, after which the disease even spread to biennial plants.
