随着中国的改革和开放,社会对高职学生的素质和能力提出比以前更高的要求,其中外语能力就是一个重要的方面。对于高职学生来说,他们的兴趣与动机在学习中至关重要。但是,许多的高职学生并未体会到这一点。因此,研究与培养学生的英语学习动机对高职院校英语教师来说是刻不容缓的任务。对于二语习得,许多语言学家的著作中都对此有一定的研究和探讨。在此,笔者通过教学实践,总结出一些适合高职学生提高其外语学习动机的有用策略。
With China’s reform and opening up, the society has put forward higher requirements on the qualifications and abilities of students in higher vocational schools. Among them, the ability of foreign languages is an important aspect. For vocational students, their interests and motivations are crucial to learning. However, many vocational students did not realize this. Therefore, studying and cultivating students’ English learning motivation is an urgent task for English teachers in higher vocational colleges. For second language acquisition, many linguists in the works have some research and discussion. Here, I through the teaching practice, summed up some suitable vocational students to improve their motivation to learn a useful strategy.
