作者分析了目前国内普通采用直沟指状铣刀存在有切削振动大,效率低,寿命短等缺点,并针对(等导程)螺旋角铣刀,难以制造、不能广泛使用的问题。提出了——等螺旋角指状铣刀。与直沟指状铣刀相比,它具有切削平稳,高效等一系列优点,并易于制造。作者从等螺旋角的基本概念出发,提出了在刀具制造的工艺装备中采用非园齿轮、并以实例详尽介绍了非园齿轮的设计,计算和加工方法。对工具革新者和有关技术人员有一定参考价值。
