上海图书馆于“2014年公共图书馆服务宣传周”期间首次发布上海图书馆、上海市中心图书馆流通分析报告——“上图阅读指数”。此次发布的报告是在近两年发布的读者年度阅读账单和上海市公共图书馆年度阅读报告的基础上,重点分析2013年度全市中心图书馆系统内的流通数据,并整合近五年流通数据,寻找热点趋势,总结本市读者阅读生态,同时抓住重点,着重结合读者属性,分析不同读者群的阅读倾向,进一步优化图书馆资源配置,对图书馆行业更好、更长远发展具有指导
