英语阅读是英语学习的核心,英语阅读能力是听、说、写、译的基础,中职英语教学是培养学生利用英语快速获取各种信息,获取知识技能和外语交际能力的有效途径。本文在分析当前中职学生如何提高英语阅读能力的基础上,指出教学方法和阅读教学模式的落后,学生不良阅读习惯是其存在的主要问题,并针对这些问题就如何提高学生英语阅读能力提出了一些建议。
English reading is the core of English learning. English reading ability is the basis of listening, speaking, writing and translation. English teaching in vocational schools is an effective way to cultivate students’ quick access to various kinds of information in English, acquire knowledge and skills and communicate in foreign languages. Based on the analysis of how current vocational students improve their English reading ability, this paper points out the backwardness of teaching methods and reading teaching modes, and the bad reading habits of students are the main problems. Based on these questions, it puts forward some suggestions on how to improve students’ English reading ability some advices.
