1971年9月5日,林彪下达了发动武装政变的手令,阴谋败露后,林彪、叶群、林立果等于13日凌晨仓皇乘飞机外逃叛国,途经蒙古温都尔汗坠落,机毁人亡。林彪集团的余党或自杀毙命,或束手就擒。一场反革命武装政变被彻底粉碎。林彪反革命集团的灭亡,客观上宣告了“文化大革命”的理论和实践的破产。
On September 5, 1971, Lin Biao issued a war order to launch an armed coup. After the plot was revealed, Lin Biao, Ye Qun and Lin Liguo waited on the 13th for fleeing and treachery by plane and crashed through Wendoukhan, Mongolia, leaving the plane destroyed. Lin Biao’s remnants of the group or killed themselves, or go hand in hand. A counter-revolutionary armed coup was completely smashed. The demise of Lin Biao counterrevolutionary clique objectively declared bankruptcy of the theory and practice of the “Cultural Revolution.”
